Students from Al Siraat participated in the annual art exhibition held by Independent Schools Victoria (ISV) at The District Docklands Gallery on Tuesday, 3 September 2019.**
This is the fourth year that we have been chosen to participate in an ISV exhibition. It is excellent to see that our students are receiving public exposure and recognition for their artworks.
Our students were excited to see their ceramic work which was inspired by ceramic artist Andrea Gill and Ottoman empire inspired hand painted palates displayed with artworks from twelve other Melbourne schools.
The exhibition itself had a huge response and I received positive feedback from teachers of other schools and the public.
I am looking forward to our students exhibiting next year with ISV as they have been very busy creating new artworks inspired by Islamic artists.
