The College is delighted to announce that our Junior School student Sufiya Wilson from Year 5 (Hifz B) won the 2017 Australian National Championships of Taekwondo for her age group and is now the proud owner of a GOLD MEDAL, mashaAllah.
Sufiya kindly provided us with a write-up about her experience below:
"On 6 and 7 October, I went to the Australia Taekwondo National Championships in Bendigo, Victoria, and I had a great experience. I have been training all year for this competition, with my club Olympic Taekwondo Centre.
I achieved a gold medal, so I am National Champion for my age group. I hope one day I can be in the Olympics, inShaAllah."
