IWD is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating gender parity and is also used to express our respect, appreciation and kindness towards women. The campaign theme for International Women人妖天堂app Day 2021 is 鈥淐hoose To Challenge: Achieving an equal future in a COVID-19 world鈥�.

Our Secondary students and staff celebrated this special occasion by taking photos and having their Women人妖天堂app Day messages recorded. Our student leaders also hand made over 300 purple ribbons and distributed among staff and students as a symbol of appreciation.

As a sign of respect and appreciation for the great work women do around the world, students and staff were encouraged to wear purple, green or white 鈥� the official colours of International Women人妖天堂app Day: Purple signifies justice, dignity and self-respect. Green symbolizes hope and new life. White represents purity.

Donations collected on the day will go towards educational support for to underprivileged girls abroad, displaying our unity as women.
