Our local MP Lily D’Ambrosio visited the College this morning to personally distribute certificates for the PremierÈËÑýÌìÌÃapp Reading Challenge. Over 320 students from Al Siraat received certificates as a part of this challenge.
Since the PremierÈËÑýÌìÌÃapp Reading Challenge began, children in Victoria have read over 42 million books.
We are very proud of our students, predominantly girls, who participated in this program. The small number of boys participating in the Reading challenge has inspired Principal Mr Fazeel to pioneer a Boys Reading Club in the near future.
The event was MC'ed by Ms Cheryl, supported by Ms Annette and Ms Hawa.
