College raises nearly $1,000 for the Heart Foundation

This year, ÈËÑýÌìÌÃapp raised a total of $957.62 to support the Heart Foundation of Australia via itÈËÑýÌìÌÃapp "Jump Rope for Heart" event. What a fantastic effort.

Below are just some of ways these funds may have contributed to preventing, treating and stopping heart disease in its tracks:

• Providing heart researchers with vital lab tools necessary in helping them understand the causes of heart disease.

• Providing personalised assistance and advice to those in need of heart health information through our free Health Information hotline from a qualified health professional.

• Provide DNA tests that can help determine genetic factors that are important in heart disease. This can help to identify people at high risk, and lead to new, innovative treatments.

This important work would not have been possible without the participation of our students and the support of our generous parent community – thank you!
